12": DO IT - BE FOR BE BOP

ICP 013

(?/90)

Be For Be Bop (Don't Dream It Mix) / (TV Tone) / (Human Beat) / (Ambient)

Don't have much info about this... Apparently it's not an interview disc but a "Euro House" 12" single featuring a sample of a Lydon interview from Italian TV (told you we we're scraping the bottom of the barrel!).

The track uses the title melody of an Italian TV show called 'Be Bop A Lula', and was produced by Umbi Damiani.

As well as Mr Lydon it also features the likes of: Boy George, Bryan Ferry, David Bowie, George Michael, Grace Jones, James Brown, Jane Birkin, John Taylor, Lisa Coleman, Little Steven, Malcolm McLaren, Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Peter Gabriel, Public Enemy, Run DMC, Simon Le Bon, Stevie Wonder & Tina Turner.

7": UNTITLED JOHN LYDON INTERVIEW DISC

BSAPC 7-1

Track/Source: 5 minute edit of the 'An Interview with John Lydon by Kris Needs' disc.

Sound Quality: Very Good, though not as good as original LP version

Origin: unknown (French?)

Notes: 7" only, picture disc. Untitled disc with sticker on sleeve stating "1 of 1", but it would seem highly unlikely that only one was pressed. Repeats on both sides. Read full Rarities review.

Packaging: Picture disc issued in clear PVC sleeve. A-side features close up of Lydon, circa 1983. B-side features page from a French (?) magazine featuring parts of a Lydon interview and three live photos of PiL.
